Well, this is awkward….

The last time I wrote something here, it was 2019. I said “where have you been” like I was going to start showing up again. I did not.

So what happened?

Honestly? Life.

The same excuse as last time, but multiplied by seven years, oh AND

  • COVID
  • our Capitol building getting attacked
  • Some visits to other countries
  • Tons of child duties and sick days
  • AI hype
  • More AI hype

Now here we are.

Well. I’ve updated the site, ripped out some AMP magic, killed off some external resources, added a theme switcher, and bumped up the a11y

With the latest changes I may have made it so I can write posts easier, I just need to do that.

I pledge to actually try again, once I get some ideas under the belt. I think this whole AI thing is around for a while unless we nuke ourselves with AI.
